Katamari Damacy Reroll -- Goes on sale quite often but can be really fun to play with a friend/partner. Snipperclips Plus - Great co-op game, held over well at a party. Sundered - Really fun metroidvania/roguelike that has multiplayer capabilities. Streets of Rogue - 8bit replayable fun.
Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak. Not only one of the best video games of all time, it's easily the best co-op game ever made, imo. Zombie Army 4 is also very good. Game is a real looker on Switch, rock solid framerate, and crazy fun in co-op. Sniper Elite 4 is another option. Splatoon 3 playing Salmon Run horde mode.
Its like Wind Waker HD. Although that game is single player, it had online functionality with bottles that would float to islands to help out stuck gamers or just images and other fun stuff sent from other gamers. Paw Patrol on a Roll (5yo) : action platformer, great for young kids. Unravel Two : puzzle platformer. Racing games (7yo) : Forza, Gran Turismo, F1, NFS Hot Pursuit, Dirt, etc. Rarely on Switch. A Hat in Time : 3d platformer, cute for kids but the second player is limited a bit.

The game continues to get new content, we have a brand new game type, at least 4 new characters, new music, and some new stages coming next patch, and judging how the last few updates were probably with a bit more good stuff that simply wasn't mentioned. If you like multiplayer games and you have a Switch I think it's essential honestly.

At least during a game there is no expectation to reveal anything about yourself or meet up. I have: Diablo 2, but I play offline (even though damn Blizzard always wants me to be Online. Smash Bros. Mario Kart. Skyrim. Metroid Dread. Mario Party (bought for the hospital, haven't played yet) Mario Golf. Portal Knights - like Minecraft but with a story. It has rpg and more combat focused than building focused. You can choose between knight, mage or ranger (more with dlc) and there is 2-player couch co-op and 4-player online co-op.
