While it isn’t a scorcher like the 1.5 TSI engine, it offers a good blend of city and highway performance. What particularly stands out in the engine is the refinement.
There is red stitching on the steering wheel, seats and gear lever gaiter. Engines will include both 150PS and 190PS versions of the 2.0 TDI plus a new 2.0 TSI 190 unit. A range of manual and DSG-auto transmissions feature. Four-wheel-drive will be available on both 2.0 TDI engines, plus, the new 2.0 TSI.
Anyone know what the difference between the new 1.5 TSI (DPCA) and the old (DADA) My Octavia had old 1.5 TSI engine. Kangaroo effect appeared and there was a vibration during ACT (2 cylinders) mode. The SW update was partial solution. My Kodiaq has new engine and there is no kangaroo and vibration. I wonder what the differences are. Re: VW Taigun 1.5L needs oil top-up just 3500 km after service. This is fairly common in 1.5 TSI engines to take extra 800ml - 1L in the first 10,000 Kms. My Kushaq 1.5 TSI also had the same where I had to top up additional 1L at 11,000 Kms. I've observed this with Virtus and Slavia as well in my group. It is the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit which is not to be confused with the 1.0-litre MPI motor that was introduced some time back and is still on sale. Where the MPI is good for 75bhp and 95Nm
The Volkswagen Taigun Topline gets the acclaimed 1-litre TSI engine. This power plant produces 114bhp and 178Nm torque and can be had with a six-speed manual or six-speed torque converter automatic transmission. While this 1-litre TSI engine is 33bhp and 72Nm down over the 1.5-litre TSI Evo, it does get a move on very enthusiastically. hh38MP.
