I recently bought a new b550 motherboard with integrated wifi and bluetooth, however it recently stopped working completely. Windows is not even detecting bluetooth as an option, claiming that i need a separate card. Has anyone encountered this problem before? All suggestions are welcome. Yeah, now it works. That was really weird.

Motherboard: MSI PRO Z690-A WIFI DDR4 (MS-7D25) RAM: 16GB DDR4. Processor: Intel i5 12gen 12600K. Ubuntu version: desktop 21.10; linux kernel 5.13.0-28-generic. MSI’s documentation says in the spec that the mobo has an Intel Wifi 6 module.

In "Bluetooth and Other Devices" it said this device is not capable of bluetooth. After some research online I found a fix whereby the issue is solved by disconnecting the power supply for a few hours and then plugging it back in. This solution worked for me. I have a Gigabyte Aorus pro wifi. Just posting in the hopes others with the same issue

Turn off the Computer unplug the Power Supply wait 10 minutes and then plug it back in and Boot up and it should be back.
FIXED: Solution was to shut down the computer. Flip PSU to off. Remove power cable from the back of the PSU. Wait 2-5 minutes. Plug cable back in. Turn on PSU. Power on computer. This worked. I have no idea why. Multiple other users online had the same success with these techniques.
mar156302d8. I have a Z590i in a Meshlicious case. Windows 11 Pro. If I try and connect any Bluetooth audio headsets, Apple AirPods, or Sony headset it takes about 2 mins to pair, and I must circle the headset around the PC like I am performing a magic trick. Then if it says paired, NO AUDIO or AUDIO that is barely audible with heavy interference. if not, you would want to download bluetooth driver from intel. Also i changed mainboard from 9th gen and also changed windows from 10 to 11. When i didn't download the network drivers for the z690 carbon wifi, when switching mainboards, it resulted in losing the internet, but to change win 10 to win 11 wasn't an issue. From what I’ve read to use Bluetooth in the boot loader I would have to enable Bluetooth in BIOS. The problem is I don’t see any setting in BIOS that remotely resembles enabling Bluetooth. I have an MSI Tomahawk B350 Motherboard, which doesn’t have WiFi or Bluetooth, so I bought a wireless network card to add the functionality. To free up the PCI-E port (and the USB header, needed for Bluetooth), I tried installing the AX210 directly into my motherboard's m.2 WiFi slot (it's an Asrock B550M Steel Legend on the latest beta BIOS (L2.32). Now the situation is that the adapter is detected in Ubuntu (just the WiFi and not the Bluetooth, but that's a separate issue Uninstall your current BT drivers: Control Panel > Device Manager > Bluetooth, rightclick uninstall, everything. Unzip the Auros driver and install with Admin rights. Open Bluetooth setting, tick Discovery: Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC. Click "More settings" if you don't see that option. 1.

Install the drivers that came with the motherboard CD; I even booted another windows 10 OS from another brand new SSD, and verified that the wifi still wasn't working. Also worth mentioning, the Wifi tile in windows 10 doesn't show up, while bluetooth works flawlessly.
I have a windows 10 computer that I built with an MSI 970 gaming Motherboard and I am now trying to figure out how to add the option to add Bluetooth devices. I don't know if there was a driver that I missed, but I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me with this. Thank you in advance.
I've ran windows update and I updated the firmware of the controller but when it connects to bluetooth it randomly disconnect every 20 seconds or so. I've noticed it connects to Bluetooth LE (Low Energy) I've the drivers updated from the motherboard page and I can't solve this. If I deactivate the LE Bluetooth from device manager it simply wont

Update how-to: 1) Get the latest BIOS. It's always the topmost one when you click on "BIOS" on the MSI support page for the mainboard. 2) Extract the file and you will get a text file and the BIOS file. Put the BIOS file into the root folder of a USB stick/drive.
