The'R' versions of KTM bikes have top end suspension I want as well. Plus the Duke 690 just doesn't have the swagger that the SMC R has. All I need to do is get one foot on the ground at stoplights. Something I've been doing since I've started riding bigger, taller bikes years ago.

I get that the 690 is the best choice for daily and understand the intervals on the 450s but at the end of the day, I can’t decide. Bike won’t be a daily driver, have a ‘21 Tuono Factory and 1290SDK for any daily needs
Topspeed-1/4 mile acceleration- KTM 690 SMC R: Essentially the same bike as the Enduro, Year: 2020. Could be the best bike I ever had, comfortable on the road and a total beast off road.
